To be placed over any PIR sensor:  A 1" pre drilled hole in your case is required.  Can also be used with any controller on the market today, just keep the rule of thumb in mind: .53 is close enough for a 1/2" US distance between PIR sensor & Fresnel Lens, same holds true for the .65 focal fresnel lens, approx 3/4" US standoofs with 3M tape will give you close enough to .65 focal distance required. The XLP needs a .65" fresnel lens and 1/4" standoffs for best overall wide angle.

The XLP is easliy setup to any distance inside the case. This is a fresnel design piece of material that is easily sealed to the case by means of Goop, Silicone, Our 2" IND sticky tape above, is the preferred mounting method..  And is used exclusively used on larger PIR holes up to 1" in diameter, and a longer focal distance.

  • Step 1: Drill your 1" Flash & Shutter hole, then lie the Glass lens holder over the 1" hole and trace a circle around it with a pencil, now you have a guide to 'recess the hole with a 1.25" forstner bit to 1.5mm) peel off the protective film, slowly align the case hole edge, and adhesion begins immediately, apply a firm 'kneed; with your thumb all the way around the edge circumference, now remove the top protective film, and lie your glass onto the sticky lens holder, **lightly kneed the edging only, do not push in the center of the glass or you will chance breaking the glass and possibly injuring yourself, we hold no responsibility for your accidental or intentional injury, by not following the above precautionary installation instructions.,** As time passes, the greater the contact adhesion becomes.
